Wellness intelligence for women who mean business.
Welcome to Status CWO
You’re in the right place…
…if you’re time-poor, ambition-rich, and you somehow manage to almost get it all done: the job, the team, the family, the social life and everyone else’s needs. And the reality is, often your own wellness is the thing that gets pushed to “next week”. But we’re not judging. We get that you give everything your all and sometimes that means that there’s simply not much left for yourself.
This is why Status CWO exists. It occurred to us that most wellness content assumes you have a completely open calendar, without any consideration for your busy career context. And yet most business content doesn’t even consider your wellness at all: just stories of “how I built this” or “how I made it” but no insights as to the toll that took or better yet, how to proactively maintain a sustainable wellbeing lifestyle alongside the successful career. And even when you do go looking for resources, there’s simply way too much noise: too many sources, too many conflicting opinions, and no clear way to know who to actually trust. So we asked real women what they wanted and the answer was consistent: no more guessing at what’s evidence-based and what’s merely marketing. They want to learn about hormonal health, fitness that fits an unpredictable schedule, practitioners worth trusting…all with the same rigor that they would see applied to business.
Status CWO exists to close that gap…and update your status quo while we’re at it.
The “CWO” in Status CWO: your dedicated Chief Wellness Officer
So what does a Chief Wellness Officer even do, anyway? In the corporate world, they’re the person who looks after the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of an entire organization. Consider this your own, right in your inbox.
I’m Emily. Nearly two decades in corporate beauty and luxury marketing, including time working in innovation across some of the top skincare brands. This is where I learned to filter real trends from noise, critically evaluate claims, assess and compare products and services and decode the jargon that confuses more than it explains. I’m transferring all those skills here but applied to wellness…so you can save the time sorting through it all yourself.
And this is my creative outlet while on my own career pivot journey. I’m currently getting certified as an Integrative Health Practitioner with a specialization in women’s health and wellness. My mission is simple: help women (whether they are climbing the corporate ladder, or building something of their own), achieve sustainable wellbeing while running the room.
On a more personal note: I’m married, with one young son and we are currently based in Paris. I'm an introvert who genuinely loves meeting new people, as long as I get to recharge with the ones who actually give me energy back afterward. I'm into dancing, world music, spicy food, and ancestral healing recipes and practices passed down to me long before "wellness" was a thing. I believe in living in a way that actually looks and most importantly, feels like you.
I'm excited to build this community of like-minded women, so please don't hesitate to reach out.
As a reader, here’s what you can expect:
Original deep dives and expert Q&As, not recycled wellness content
Wellness myths and trends, put through real scrutiny
The practitioners, specialists, and destinations actually worth your time: vetted before they ever reach your inbox
Wellness inspiration from other high-achieving women in business, like you
Ways to elevate your status quo
A community of women done treating ambition and wellness as competing priorities
And more, as the publication grows.
Wherever you are, whether “corporate and staying”, “corporate and pivot-curious”, in the middle of a pivot, or fully building your own thing: the most important thing is you and your wellness.
So welcome, I am glad you’re here.
